Do you need a pink slip for NSW registration?
Your NSW registration renewal notice will tell you whether a safety inspection report is required. Service NSW states that most light vehicles more than five years old require a safety inspection before registration can be renewed.
Pink slips for cars, motorcycles, vans and trailers
The workshop lists pink slip inspections for cars, motorcycles, vans and trailers. Call (02) 4232 2757 with your registration and vehicle type before visiting so the team can confirm eligibility and appointment availability.
What happens after the eSafety inspection?
For a passing NSW eSafety inspection, the inspection provider sends the report electronically to Transport for NSW. Service NSW states that light-vehicle safety inspection reports are generally valid for six months, excluding public passenger vehicles.
